I may be drowning in student loan debt, but have some degrees to show for it!

I was that overly involved student who was always running from meeting to meeting, always looking for another club or organization to join. Some of those were:
LMU Leadership Institute
Order of Omega Honor Society
Alpha Delta Kappa Honor Society
National School of Education Honor Society
National Society of Collegiate Scholars
Delta Sigma Phi Sweetheart
Freshman Retreat Leader
One organization that really shaped my development at LMU (and probably caused one or two anxiety attacks) was the Resident Housing Association. We represented the students who lived on campus, which I did for three out of four years at LMU. I ran a campaign to join the Executive board and won the position of Vice President of Development. What does that mean? Well, during this position I:
Made volunteer opportunities easily accessible to all LMU students by organizing and managing major campus-wide fundraising programs
Facilitated RHA staff activities focused on personal leadership and development, such as welcome events and off-campus trainings
Planned and executed an entire training for 100 students and faculty
Lead the Service Committee including 12 students who work together to decide what service and philanthropy events to introduce on campus
Pi Beta Phi
If you’ve seen the movie Legally Blonde, that is exactly what my sorority experience was not like. Nope. My sorority experience was simply incredible. It was a space for strong women to come together and not only party (which we did at times), but also push each other to be the best versions of themselves. I met women who I still consider to be some of my closest friends, not because we are ‘sisters’, but because these women are people I look up to and admire. I am forever grateful for Pi Beta Phi and the amazing opportunities it gave me.
Study Abroad- Bonn, Germany
I spent 4 months living in Bonn, Germany and traveled to 12 countries in just those 4 months! (I also sometimes did school things too.) Living in another country, taking public transportation around Europe, and making every moment count was truly a life changing experience.
I created some cool videos. Check them out here!
